All of us from AIESEC UM are all hyped up even in the early morning at 8am before we depart from UM to Subang Jaya morning market to raise fund for Hospis Malaysia that we had pledge under TLC.
To get a Nebulizer we need at least to raise at least RM400 from the public. Therefore, we were all very nervous and tried our best to do our best to get the amount of money to able to fulfill the pledge. At first, most of us face rejection but we all stayed on and approaching everyone in the market to convince the public to help the patients in Hospis.
After a few hours of raising funds, we managed to get the sufficient amount of money to help buy the nebulizer and also collected some contact that wish to donate another nebulizer to Hospis in person. We are all glad that we take up this pledge and managed to fulfill the pledge. The feeling of getting to help other people are so awesome that I could not explain with words. It is a feeling of contentment deep in our heart that we will never ever forget. Thanks to the public and TLC for holding this great project!
Hope that this project had raise the awareness of public to the need of help of many needy in the society and offer a helping hand when they need it =)
