“Nope, ni Subang.”
The beauty of interaction is that it’s a two way lesson. You are both a teacher and a student.
Taking Umarul and Ikhwan out for a trip in KL may merely seem like just taking them out and showing them how KL looks like while you play the tour guide and explain to them what is around them.
But what you don’t know is how we have created indelible memories and little positive impacts in each other.
If we didn’t share the same ride with them, we wouldn’t know that little things excite a kid and would put a smile on their face from ear to ear.
This has reminded us again that little gestures make a difference and being able to make other people happy gives tenfold of happiness back to ourselves in return.
If they didn’t share the same ride with us, they wouldn’t know that actually not everyone likes visiting KL and these people find out-skirt towns much more interesting.
This could have thought them that every individual have their special interest or preference and it doesn’t have to be a popular choice among society as long as we are happy doing what we like.
All these little little lessons are going to be the foundation for bigger lessons to come in the future.
Me and Lia would like to Thank TLC for making this way easier for us. They’ve created and made the plane, all we needed to do was to board on it and enjoy the journey.
We had such a great time together – laughing, being amazed by the underwater creatures in Aquaria, sitting on swings at the park, deciding where to eat. We had fun and we have just filled our lives with more great memories.
p/s: we are suppose to also watch a movie together but because they didn’t have the right time slot we have promised to make another trip with them for a movie
Signing off, May Yee & Norliana
