I had been busy since taking up this pledge from this Promise Me Campaign. However, this does not deter my determination to bring Madam Tan for lunch in PJ.
I knew that Madam Tan loves cooking and food, thus I wanted to bring her to a Chinese restaurant in PJ.
2 weeks back, I finally did it.
I went out for lunch with Madam Tan, and I realized something. She does not really seems to care about what we eat, or whether the food is tasty. I realized she wants people to accompany her and talks to her.
Thus, throughout our lunch, we keep talking and talking. Seeing her being so joyful during the lunch proves to me one thing, which is I did not make the wrong decision to take up this pledge and spend some time with Madam Tan.
It was all worth it, and I’m glad that I had this opportunity to do something.
